onde um vaqueiro afamado

no deserto de um sertão

Ele foi com muita garra
simpatia e experiência
arriscando sua vida
com plena consciência
que mais cedo ou mais tarde
a batalha se iniciava


E foi uma luta tenebrosa
cheia de altos e baixos
ele derrubava o touro
o touro se levantava
mas de tanto derrubado
ele já estava cansado


E foi depois de muito tempo

Como não consegui descer
Seus amigos foram socorrer

Para a surpresa
Algo inesperado aconteceu
Nelson que era fotógrafo
Logo entristeceu
Teve sua máquina desconcertada
E uma das pernas quebrada

Para finalizar
Agora vou lhes falar
Damião com muito esforço
Consegui tirar os espinhos do corpo
