One night in vaquejada
Something strange happened
Damian watching the race
It took a scare
A bull came toward
Since then chased

Damiano very scared
Up a foot of cactus
On the hill there was nothing

Numa noite de vaquejada
Algo estranho se passou
Damião assistindo a corrida
Um susto ele levou
Um boi veio em sua direção
Sendo perseguido então

Damião muito assustado
Subiu num pé de mandacaru
Na subida não houve nada
Mais a descida foi complicada
Como não consegui descer
Seus amigos foram socorrer

Para a surpresa
Algo inesperado aconteceu
Nelson que era fotógrafo
Logo entristeceu
Teve sua máquina desconcertada
E uma das pernas quebrada

Para finalizar
Agora vou lhes falar
Damião com muito esforço
Consegui tirar os espinhos do corpo
